Games of the Year List Archive (2010 - 2021)

Please note this is more or less copies directly from the old Giant Bomb lists and auto-formatted so there might be some oddness but this is essentially my Games of the Year lists in their entirety.   Game of the Year 2010 2010 is a very important year for me in regards to video games. It's really the first year I had a regular flow of money. Seeing how video games are my number 1 hobby naturally a nice big chunk of my paycheck went to that. So actually buying and playing more than 10 current video games this year I am actually capable of making a top 10 list for the year. Thinking about this list is really hard. Some of these games I loved but are completely absent from the list which breaks my heart but that just shows you how awesome 2010 was so let's get started. 1. The following is just an archive of a prior post I made and does not represent my current thoughts and feelings. This year has been a bit of a disappointing year. Between the Series X and PS5 still being challenging to find and multiple big games being delayed, 2022 seemed like the kind of the year that was kind of... meh? A few big games were released this year, but that’s it: only a few big games. In other years it’s banger after banger, but throughout most of the year, we did not see a lot of triple-A...
